GUIDELINES & RULES
The Student Challenge is dedicated to teams of 2 to 4 students from Italian universities. If you have not found your team but have a winning idea, register anyway and specify it. We will find the team for you!
Teams will be challenged to define a business plan (needs and context, customer target, distribution channels and action plan) of an innovative product or service to cope with the difficulties of the current global context.
The product or service must represent a revolutionary idea that fits perfectly into the new context and, at the same time, define a new business model for companies. The teams will not necessarily have to refer to a specific company but may select a panel of companies or sectors to which the model applies.
The presentation of competing projects will be held on October 24, 2024 in Rome (with the possibility of remote connection if necessary). The time available for each team will be approximately 10 minutes and material can be provided to support the oral presentation. The projects will be presented to a jury of top managers from multinational companies, professionals from consulting companies, journalists and university professors.
- For first place, Ray-Ban Meta glasses and a chance to spend “a day as a consultant” : a whole day to be spent with Eurogroup Consulting professionals, to discover what it means to work in Consulting!
- For second place, a Canon photo printer to print your best memories.
- For third place, a fingerprint lock for safe travel.
Projects will be assessed according to the following criteria:
- Originality: Does the idea respond to a specific need in a creative way?
- Feasibility: How feasible is the idea or business model? Could the idea be implemented in companies?
- Technological innovation: What is the degree of innovation? Does it involve the latest technologies?
- Impact in terms of environmental and social sustainability: Does the idea consider impacts on people and the environment around us?
